Our Story

International Lodging Corporation (ILC) is a company that specializes in travel to Spain and Portugal. Founded by Spaniards in 1983, we are based in New York City and provide central reservation services for hotels, suite hotels, apartments, and private tours & transfers, as well as advertising, marketing, and consulting services.

We represent over 200 properties throughout Spain and Portugal, and hand select them to ensure that they will meet our clients' needs. Our portfolio of properties consists primarily of hotels rated 4 and 5 stars.

We are proud to be listed with the Tourist Offices of Spain and Portugal, which are located throughout the United States and Canada, as well as the Spanish Consulates. ILC has been listed in Fodor's Spain and Frommer's Spain, and has been mentioned in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Star-Ledger, Travel & Leisure Magazine, Travel World News, Recommend Magazine, Travel Weekly Magazine, Smart Money Magazine, Family Travel Times, the Wall Street Journal, and on Arthur Frommer's radio show. In the travel book "Guide to Vacation Rentals in Europe" by Michael and Laura Murphy, the authors write, "This company [ILC] is a well-managed company that knows its specialty: Spain."

For over 34 years we have made it our business to know the properties that we represent and their staff. Unlike online booking engines, we actually visit the hotels that we represent and have long-standing relationships with the management and staff of the properties.
